Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
I am thinking of making a biodiesel processor. I currently am using the FUELMEISTER. I am going to make one and see how it comes together, i think with the experience and skills i have i am pretty sure i can make a better processor than what i have now. if everything works out the way i want it to, i will be manufacturing them about 5-10 at a time. It will use the same tanks and pumps every processor i have seen uses. It will be a 60 gallon tank and a 15 gallon mixing tank. I have been processing for about a year now and have alot of ideas on how to make a BETTER machine. I would like to know if anyone would be interested in buying one? I am not taking orders just yet, just seeing if anyone out there is in need of a machine. thank you brent seay

Re: Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
I would be interested. I think the fuelmeister is one of the best/affordable processors. We will be setting something up for a coop and be doing wvo and svo I suspect. Where are you located?
Also, in your experience what type of breakdown frequency do you have on you fuelmeister? Did you find that after so many gallons you had to replace certain components? What is your experience in running the BD in your personal vehicle? We will be using it mostly in farm equipment, mostly tractors and a few trucks. I have a 2006 duramax but I don't want to add an extra fuel tank, wouldnt have any place for my tool boxes, 5th wheel, etc.

Re: Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
hello, i am located in rockford, il. I have been brewing for about a year now with the Fuelmeister. The very first step using the Fuelmeister was a disaster, trying to prime it is nearly impossible the way the instructions say too, and i still have yet to figure that out. Alot of small things, drain hose was pinched off and i had to cut the end off, the way they have it setup they should have used a better pump, the biodiesel output hose was very short had to be extended, they supplied pump broke and they did not cover it under warranty( they know this is a bad pump and discontinued using it, but still no recovery). Thats just off the top of my head, For 3,000 it should have been made better and with better materials. My machine will Cost between $12-1400.
Running biodiesel in my truck has been very enjoyable. No real problems, i have an 05 f-350 started running with 12k miles. Proly have to replace the fuel filter in older or dirty applications. You wont need to add an extra tank to your duramax to run biodiesel. thank you brent seay

Re: Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
I would be interested in a processor... I've been looking around at other products and have wondered about building my own as well... Say, 40 gallon per batch size?
By the way, have you heard anything about www.biofuelbasics.com ?
Is it like diesel secret energy?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
Pilotr1:
1) They're advertising a veg-oil additive that makes miracle fuel and their website is less-than-illuminating - bordering on cryptic - on how this all happens. Anyone venture a guess as to what a "catalytic bonder" is? It's not defined in Wikipedia, nor anywhere else on the web. None of my chem textbooks contain any information on it either. Hmmmm.... 2) They're selling filtering kits that looks very familiar... 3) They're making specious claims. On this page, in Step 4, they go as far to falsely call the product Biodiesel. It's not biodiesel, it's a blend of vegetable oil and their mystery product. This could be an error, as they avoided the use of this terminology on most of their site. This does all sound a lot like DSE. The best way to make a determination is, of course, requesting a MSDS from the manufacturer and determining what, exactly, their additive is composed of.

Re: Biodiesel Processor...For Sale??
I have heard nothing but bad things about DSE unlike biofuelbasics which i have run in a 7.3 Lt Ford as well as in a 6.2 Lt chevy for the last two weeks. So far no problems of any kind. In fact the one thing that bought me to this site is an attempt to find out what the heck is the catalytic bonder that i can not find any information on. As far as the performance out of these two vehicals they have never been better. i am not sure if that is because they are being lubricated better than ULSD does but i am certain that my performance has gone up. The mix i used was 20% Diesel of the total amount of WVO and 5% unleaded gas and for every 6 gals of fuel 1 oz of the SECRET bonder (which looks and smells like Power Service product called Diesel Kleen). Better lubrication of any Diesel engine will enhance the performance some with or with out anything special. let me know if you find out anything different and i will keep you informed on the performanc or nonperformance of my vehicals.

To BRENTSBG: I know it's been a while since you posted this (09/05), but I was wondering if you ever got off the ground making and selling bio diesel processors? You once used the Fuelmesiter, and claimed that you could make a better unit. Where are you located in Virginia?

Hi Brent. What's the difference between your tanks and other plastic tanks?
