I will be waiting for your next update. I want to put a standing order in for a minimum of 500 gallons of WVO each month.

Currently working to tie up some loose ends and get contracts signed. This has been a long hard road just so you all know. Sorry for not responding to most of your comments and emails. I have been streched very thin at work, so trying to get to everyone when I come home is just not likely. Again when I get an update, you all will know.

Prices still not determined but short term location has been found in Osceola county off US-192 in Kissimmee. Thanks for all your support.

Hopefully tomorrow will be the last meeting we need to some up everything we have worked on. Depending on what happens tomorrow we should start the oil collection sometime by the end of this week. Once everything is final I will start a new thread with directions on how to contact me, and the price per gallon. Remember this oil will NOT be dewatered and only be filtered to about 100 to 150 microns. Any questions post them on this thread or wait till a new one has started. We are looking good everyone!

Mike,

I am very interested in being able to obtain oil/Biodiesel.  More importantly though, I own my own small business which affords me a considerable amount of 'personal time'.  As a result, I would love to offer my services to help you out in whatever way I may.  Please e-mail me at nweil@cfl.rr.com and we can discuss my qualifications to see if I can help you to help the rest of us!

We are currently taking orders for those of you who need Waste Vegetable Oil. Our oil is already filtered and ready for use in making Biodiesel.

Please contact: CASEY @ 321-436-8927

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE PURITY OF OUR OIL KEEP YOU FROM CALLING!

WE ARE LOCAL GUY'S LIKE YOU AND WE WANT TO MAKE THE CO-OP A SUCCESS.

Wannabealgeafarmer:
Would you guys be interested in paying for the oil at a discounted rate off the price of oil, say at the time of this posting like $2 a gallon. It would save me alot of time if I could have somebody take the oil off my hands. The amounts would start out slow and increase as I optimize the system.

I'm very interested, please email me when you get a second,  jallenba@fit.edu. I can pick up large quantities at a time.

Hi, my name is Sean and I’m in Deltona.

I’ve been setting up equipment for a personal appleseed this summer, and I recently worked out a deal to start picking up 12 gallons/week of WVO (about what I drive in my 300D each week). I’m pretty familiar with the biodiesel process and related matters.

I might be interested to contributing my WVO to the co-op though, depending on what price I could buy the finished BioD and whether it would be worth the effort

My major and current profession is in digital media, so I’m experienced in graphic design, web design, and similar areas. I could create a website for organizing co-op information like meeting dates, cost/processing statistics, oil on hand, and contacts. The website could be public, private, or a combination. Let me know your thoughts.

Also I’m very interested to hear of any success with algae. I don’t know as much about the process, but it sounds promising as a long term solution.

Hello, new to this forum and biodiesel in general.  Made a few batches, seems easy enough, though definately an uphill climb procurring sources for WVO. The Co-Op idea seems like a good one, the little guys fighting the machine, and all that jazz. Sign me up for some of that, hoo-ah! Anyone interested in a deal for a restaurant contract in eastern Central Florida, along the coast? It's not in Tampa, and not in Orlando, so I'm trying to see if there is a local type interest in a contract for ( according to the manager ) around 300 gallons a week of used veg oil. Don't know the titration of the oil, and can't guarantee the volume, only what I'm told. I personally don't have a need for 6-  55 gallon barrels a week of the stuff, but would love to co-op with a few individuals to get the contract. I have already spoken with the person giving the contract, and he is all about the local thing, and helping the environment is a plus to him. If you are interested, and have the means to help collect this amount of WVO, and are not about the Corporate ripoff of the little guy with the info, please respond. Time is of the essence, others have bids on the contract already, it will not be free, but seems pretty reasonable. Feel free to call, 386-931-2520 or respond irootgood@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Chris

Sorry, no luck getting this together. This one is a no-go. Manager went with one of the bigger rendering companies . Sorry,
