You are so full of crap; Do you listen to yourself? Well I have for the last few months and my bet is you are not a US citizen, but rather sitting in an Arab Country with vested interest in the US economy and political structure failing.

If it were not for =my= ancestors, =you= would still be a slave.  If it were not for my ancestors, the first Europeans in NA would all have starved to death or been murdered.  If it were not for my ancestors, the English would have lost the French and Indian war.  If it were not for my ancestors, the Colonies would have lost the American Revolution.

I have a greater vested interest in what is best for NA than any of you "foreign invaders" or immigrants.  Cool

So stop the BS.  Every stance you take shows that you are not motivated by what is best for the USA.  You and others like you are motivated by what is best for =you=.  Serving one's country does not consist solely of being in the military when you were younger, nor solely in serving in the military.  It's a lifetime commitment.

Your tax data is inaccurate and does not take into account all taxes (like state and local) and deductions available to each country. You have to go to accounting sites like KPMG to see the full picture, and like I said the USA has the second highest Tax rate in the world just behind Japan. G8 countries are not the measure, it is the 29 OECD countries that is the true measure. The average tax rate of OECD countries is 27.63%. US is at 40%. Hardly in the middle, how dare you make that statement. That is a devastating 12.3% difference, and the core reason jobs and companies are leaving the USA. USA corporate tax rates are higher than Welfare and Socialist countries like Germany and France. Here are the real facts:

Post a verifiable source.  I did.  If you can't or won't, then no matter what you post, it is just anecdotal and hearsay.

Attempts at emotional manipulation like "devastating difference" are semantically null and do nothing to prove your point while making it look like you are trying to distort the facts with emotional manipulation of the reader.

Companies and jobs are leaving the USA in areas like manufacturing and other product rather than service sectors because raw materials and labor are considerably cheaper in many areas of the world than they are in the USA.  $3 US per =day= vs $14 US per =hour= is not related to, or going to be fixed by, lowering American corporate taxes.  Neither is raw materials being 1/2, 1/4, or even 1/10 elsewhere what they are in the USA.

Corporate taxes are a small effect compared to the above.

The only way you are going to match those costs between the USA and cheaper international locations is to create a class of Americans who work and live in the conditions implied by labor and materials costs like those in Indonesia or Malaysia or rural China or ...

IOW, we'd have to bring back slavery.  I'd love to see how a Black man plans to justify that.

I did: Are you blind? You just don't want to look at it. But just for YOU, here it is again.

The table I posted is the summary.

You in fact did not post the KPMG link originally.  Thank you for doing so now.

The next order of business is figuring out what to do with the discrepencies in the available sources.

I'll be working through it and some of the other soruces available and then posting an analysis.

But no matter what happens from here on out, your claim that "America has the 2nd highest corporate taxes in the world" has now been shown to be false from multiple sources.

Any claim that American business are relocating overseas primarily due to American corporate taxes has also been shown to be illogical.

You are full of crap. Another source from 2006 determines the USA was the highest in tax year 2005. Japan took over in tax year 2006 aqnd 2007. You loose this argument.
