While watching the gasoline, ethanol, diesel and biodiesel price at the pump only going up, and seeing our country working for more than a few years now to increase production of oil and alternatives ... I wonder just how high oil will go this summer? Will we see $4.00 oil or can something be done?

The problem is that the supply of WVO is limited and as the demand goes up, commercial collectors will get our supply.

You are lucky. That is not the case in Houston. I have a couple of sources that I am constantly battling oil thieves at. The Commercial guys will come buy and pick up my oil before I can get there.
The licensing angle for 'waste oil' pickup is being looked at in our county. Many restaurant owners don't want the hassle of dealing with a small home oil collector that doesn't offer paperwork for peace of mind. Big boys are using that as a tool to lock up accounts.
It makes me think twice (or, about a thousandth time, as I'm really conflicted) about selling my car to get a family hauler.

Or... here is a perfect example of how the market fails, the Fox river, my local river is a PCP horror story. It cannot be cleaned up for any $ number and who is to pay for it anyhow? The market has completely failed in this case and now there is no way to fix it.
Ayn was only partially right. The market has alot of benefits but just as any formula, it needs the hand of constraint, to know when to use it and to know when that formula is useless.

I experienced a nerve problem with my leg the last couple of years I owned it and I tried everything I could think of to correct it. I tried special foam wedges and even taxi cab beads. Nothing improved the nerve situation during the 4 hour stretches a couple times a week in the car(my wife says its age). As soon as I would switch back to the minivan (more upright seating) or the Honda Pilot (again more upright seating) the problem went away. I'm still not sure if it was the seat position entirely, because I have driven other sedans and not had the problem. I'm curious if the Passat or upsized A5 Jetta would improve my drive ... or if psychologically I'm trying to convince myself I need a Mercedes Benz!

Do you mean PCB's ? This is due to the industrial revoultion dating back to the 1800's correct. Mainly paper mills that were not regulated before 1972 when Nixon formed the EPA .
