Biodiesel and E-10 in a 4 stroke gasoline lawnmower test.

I mowed the yard today with a mix of 40% biodiesel and 60%  E-10.

Mower ran real smooth with very little smoke.

This is a picture of it running.

I checked the sparkplug today and it looked fine.  Not fouled or caboned up at all.

I had a Onan generator that  has a 5-1 C.R. but I sold it.  I bet that would run biodiesel too.

Keep in mind the lawnmower was running about the same speed the whole time and the motor was under load because it was some thick grass !   Smile

Biodiesel and E-10 mix right away !   No problem mixing them.

    Thanks, Steve

10% Ethanol, 90% Gasoline. Some gas stations sell their gasoline with up to 10% ethanol mixed in anymore it seems. And yes, i'd assume it's your average lawnmower...
