brand new here and just wondering if anyone knew of a comapny or persons that sold jatropha seeds or seedlings, pref. the non toxic type.

I am in South Texas, I obtained mine from Hap Hallibaugh in Berkely, California, but they are the toxic type I believe. They are growing very well for me so far.  you can find him at:

I've checked with Hap again, just in case there is a non toxic type. as far as he knows, the entire genus is toxic. anyone claiming to have non toxic type. well. i'd ask them to eat 3 seeds before i bought from them. I'll still with the regular toxic type.

CTT is toxic,

gas is toxic

oil is toxic.

no need to change anything yet. thought it'd be nice.

update on Hap in Berkely at Cactus Jungle,

he has 30 plants left for sale. I've ordered 10. so if you want some, you'd better call quick. I was under the impression he had a green house full 2 months ago when i ordered my first sapling.

he's keeping the seeds to start a fresh batch of saplings and im sure he wouldnt part with them for gold.

i may have saplings in a few months.

they are in florida, and so far, i have found there is no non-toxic variety.
