for sale is a super clean 1983 mercedes 300 tdt wagon. this is a 2 owner car that spent its whole life in savanah georgia,owned by 2 older gents.still has original floor mats, tool kit and what I believe to be factory first aid kit?.there are 235,000 miles on it.trans shifts great. THE LAST OWNER JUST DROVE IT DOWN FROM GEORGIA.you can drive this car anywhere with no problems. many new parts,motor mounts, valve cover gasket and last owner installed a injector pump approx. a year ago. I also just had valves adjusted by a friend thats a retired mercedes mechanic.COLD A/C,power windows,sunroof,radio works,new goodyear touring tires.the drivers seat is split and the dash has a few cracks in it,not bad for 25yrs. old.the exterior is amazingly clean.NO RUST AT ALL. the last owner was running it on a single tank waste vegetable oil system getting approx 30 mpg. the system has been removed. this car is mechanically and cosmetically in excellent condition.drives on highway 70 mph perfect!the mercedes would be perfect for a WVO, SVO, conversion.I looked for a long time to find a 300tdt this clean to do a wvo conversion.why am I selling it.I do home repair and come to the realization that I really need another work truck,so I am selling this to purchase a 94-97 dodge diesel that I can do aWVO conversion on.Please call with any questions. here is a link to craigslist ad for some pics .if you want more pics just email me at  tarponchaser00@netscape.net
