So how much per gallon?

water weighs 8 lbs per gallon.

oils weigh differently, but lets assume 6 lbs per gallon for any specific type of oil.

metric ton = 2204.6 lbs.

2205 (rounded) divided by 6 lbs = 367.50 gallons.

if the oil is 275 per metric ton

$275 / 367.5 = 75 cents per gallon. (shipping not included). remember its coming from nigeria. so how much to ship a metric ton from nigeria to 101 main st. where ever, USA?

$4500? $5000?

lets just say $3000 and be fairly generous i guess

$3000 (shipping) + $275 (oil) / 367.5 = $8.91 per gallon.

unless my math or shipping estimates are all wrong.

Oil weighs more than 6 lbs a gallon, and where do you get 3,000-5,000 a tote for delivery? Most of this stuff is just spam/fraud anyway. They make you pay upfront and Mr Good Deal is sitting with your money no where to be found.

it was an estimate, oil weighs less than 8 lbs per gallon (the weight of water), the shipping was estimated as well. do you have any factual info on shipping? that would be extremely helpful.

To have oil shipped in be best to get 20MT (one Flexitank), Less than that amount you be paying LCL rates which are about 4 times higher than Container rates.
