i dont care what anyone says, if you use a motorcraft filter for the 6.0 it will clog, it has the cotton stuff in it, and this clogs. end of story

You can wash, and wash, and wash, and wash, and wash again. Water will not remove bound glycerine from an incomplete transesterification reaction and and I'm not sure filtration will either. Fuel quality is key. TJ..

i feel no one has 100% no bound glycerin in their home brew or even these claimed astm bd fuel sites. my 6.0 ford motor was pulled out after 30k of my bound glycerin 100% bd use and i was told by 15 ford techs that my bd is magic fuel, they said the motors internals including injectors looked as if they were brand new, never run! i feel the tiny amount or wutever amount of bound glycerin has NO noticable affect on diesel engines. The only way to run this fuel is to get a filter that doesnt have the cotton stuff in it. My motor was pulled in my brand new psd because i had a head stud kit installed so i can boost 40+ psi, . they pulled the heads, injectors etc... they were all looking to bad mouth bd but they were amazed. yes they were all techs, i am friends with them all. lol, i can blow my motor 20 times from defying my warrenty deeds and they would still warrenty my motor etc... lol.. i feel bad for all you warrenty guys. I live in south florida, theres nothing more crooked than that.... for anyone who disagrees: do you run a "motorcraft filter" in a 2005 psd? if so, it will glog.

Midnight... How about an update? Just wondered if the new filters were still working? I am having a similar problem and I'm to the point where I will have to get a new fuel pump for my 04 6.0
