Had a warm spell 3 weeks ago and bought 20 gal of B-100 at Loud. $3.00/gal. plus taxes,of course. Doing my own soda bottle experiments this winter. Been mixing my B-100 with #2 but no more than a couple gallons to a tankful. So far ,so good. 97 Dodge 2500 Xcab 5.9 12 Valve Hummin Cummins 160k and goin strong on B-100 TDR memeber.Got Diesel?

abalexan. still not selling. from the sounds of things, the newspaper printed the story of paul noonan amking biodiesel too early. the revenuers were there the next day,cuz they want their tax money,no matter what it cost to make...he is in the process of getting approval from the MIB(IRS) to resell then hopefully we can buy from him, cuz,no offense but it sucks going to falmouth to get B-100. nice people but 2 hours round trip for me.noonan's is 3 miles away. 97 Dodge 2500 Xcab 5.9 12 Valve Hummin Cummins 160k and goin strong on B-100 TDR memeber.Got Diesel?

I have 40-50 gallons of used grease for frying chicken and fries.  I am in the Lowell MA area. How do I find someone who is interested in this.  We use it at our baseball stand from April to July and Sept to October.  Thanx for your suggestions.

Re: Where to get biodiesel in New England

I just bought B100 in Acton... here's the info from a post on this site:

    http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=146932

Default B100 retail pump now open in Acton, MA!

    Hi everyone,

Great news! The Bursaw Oil B100 retail pump at Bursaw Oil in Acton, MA opened for business on Wednesday and is ready for you and all your friends to use whenever the station is open. Their hours are:

    Mon-Fri 6:00am - 8:00pm
    Saturday 7:00am - 5:00pm
    Sundays (closed)

The price is $3.149 a gallon, 10 cents less than what we have been paying.
Bursaw Oil is located on at 94 Great Road (Rt. 2A) in Acton, MA. It's just west on Rt. 2A from the traffic circle on Rt. 2 in Concord near the Concord prison. GPS coordinates: N42 28.647 W71 24.755

Here are a few things to note about using the pump:

    1) It's a self-service pump. Everything else at Bursaw is done by attendants but Jeff Bursaw figures we can handle the pump ourselves.

    2) It's located behind the left side of the building as you face it from the road. You'll need to back into the area near the pump. It says "B100" in small black letters but they will dress it up. I'll try to find a Biodiesel logo for it.

    3) Go ahead and fill up, then walk to the cashier at the gasoline pumps to pay. Remember the amount since they do not see that pump inside.

    4) Jeff is trusting us to pay up and pay the right amount. He sees us as a friendly and trustworthy bunch and I agree so let's do this right.

I was grinning from ear to ear as I fueled up today. I think Jeff was pleased and amused that I was so happy about this. Many thanks to Jeff, Mark, and Nick at Bursaw Oil and to all of you for supporting this.

Spread the word - B100 is available at retail in the greater Boston area!

Hi Chemical Bill, i just tossed my diesel engine out of my 28'southern cross sailboat because I could no longer tolerate the fumes and issues with the engine. long story.  Yes, there is alot of biodiesel use around newport. I am looking for immediate support and information about converting my Universal 18hp, 3 cylinder, M3-20 engine to biodiesel.  the engine is out.  just about to put a bracket on the back for an outboard, hopefully to find an electric engine that will do the trick.  la la la... any ideas.?

    T. H. Malloy, at 106 Scott Rd in Cumberland, RI (333-0665; 800-817-0205) will have B100 available all winter. They will have a truck in a heated garage. Call ahead and make an appointment. I think he said that the current price is $3.19/gallon.

Party!!! [<:o)] Finally, Southern RI Bio-D

I went to Newport Biodiesel in Friday and got B100 (from WVO) for $2.49/ gal. tax included. The car is loving it!  They are on Connell Highway (next to Gate 4) and are very nice fellas.Smile

Also, Malloy is now delivering B20 road fuel to South County!  I think at $2.52/ gal.  A bumper week for greening my neck of the woods.

Anyone know where to buy a 55 gallon steel drum in person, in Massachusetts or Rhode Island?  Buying them online, the shipping is always $70.

    Thanks.
