60000 ton of soy oil eh? Here goes...
Lets assume 60 bushel/acre. 1 bushel = 60lbs. Soy has ~ 20% oil. 1 ton = 2000lbs
60bu/ac x 60lbs = 3600lbs/ac x 20% oil = 720lbs oil / ac. 60000ton x 2000lb/ton = 120000000 lbs of oil / 720lbs of oil/ac = 166,667 acres of land it would roughly take to produce 60000ton of soy oil.
Wisconsin planted ~ 1.6million acres of soy last year and ave less than 45bu /ac. so you are talking more than 20% of Wisconsins total yield of soy.
Sorry I dont know Florida but I cant imagine they are doing more than 60 bu/ac ave.
