Running BD in higher mileage vehicles

Is there truth to it being more 'risky' running BD in a higher mileage vehicle versus a lower? Such as running Synthetic oil in a higher mileage car that has always run dino oil for comparison? I think i only heard that once, and don't know where, but it has been on my mind a little in considering buying a diesel, possibly with 150k-200k.

Just curious if there was any truth to it 'cleaning' too much or anything like that? Thanks!

100k+ vehicles that make the switch over to biodiesel will usually have issues with the fuel system being cleaned out of all that accumulated petroleum crud. This means carry a spare fuel filter or two around so you can replace it when it gets clogged. But this is a good thing! It's like cleaning cholestorol out of your blood stream or something.
