    How to dispose of products

I made a test batch of biodiesel for a science experiment and now I have leftover sodium hydroxide, methanol, biodiesel, and glycerin. I have no intention of using the biodiesel and have no idea what to do with it. What should I do to dispose these things? And what do I do with the containers that I used to make the biodiesel? Also can you tell me what I can do to make the stuff nontoxic. I heard that the end product of biodiesel and glycerin will have methoxide in it so what can I do to make it nontoxic?

With your leftover NAOH and glycerin you can make bars of soap. With the methanol, if you have a car or someone closeby has one. Make your own windshield washer fluid, (30-50% methanol to water ratio ). If you have a deck or patio with TIKI torches add 10-20% bio to the torch fuel. Joe.D
