Glycerol in the WVO, not the results I expected

I've read in a few places that gently mixing Glycerol into WVO and letting settle for 2 days should cause much of the the tallow to fall out to the bottom, leaving a tallow free oil floating on top, and a methanol free glycerine at the bottom.  Most posts I've read say that the glycerine should also be thicker than the usual stuff left over from the initial reaction.  I mixed about 30% glycerol into 5 gallons of my nastiest WVO hoping to clean it up, use up some methanol, and end up with a thicker glycerine that would be better for soap production.  What I ended up after two days of settling was indeed much thiner than the WVO I started with, it did indeed have about a 1/2 of clearer oil floating on top.  But the rest of it was a homogenous watery consistency.  Anybody have any experience with this to tell me why I'm not getting any glycerine settling out after two days?

what was the titration? you probably made a bunch of soap that's keeping the rest of the glycerine from settling out. Soap comes from the leftover lye in the glycerine reacting with the FFA's in the waste oil, and this technique yields a lot of gooey soap if there's a LOT of FFA in the oil.

I hadn't titrated it yet...Is there anything I could add to the stuff to encourage the glycerine to drop out?

Ok, I kind of know what I'm doing now.  I'm working with really good oil that has never titrated beyond .8.  two days ago I lightly mixed 2.5 Gallons of Glycerol with 10 Gallons of Clean WVO for 2-3 minutes.  It's been 90 degrees both days, which has hopefully helped in speeding up the settling.  Anyway, I drained off the 2.5 Gallons of Glycerol tonight, which wasn't a problem as there was a clear dividing point.  The 10 Gal of WVO left over, which was a clear amber when I put it in, is now yellowish and opaque.  I'm assuming that means its wet?  I drained it off into 5 Gal containers to let it settle for a while to see if this will help.  Any thoughts as to whats going on here and what I can do about it?
