I'm a little concerned. I was in the middle of washing a batch of bio when I opened the air valve too quick and ended up splashing unwashed bio in my face. I ran directly to the hose and stuck my face under water for 5 min. I know washed bio is pretty harmless, but would there be enough excess chemical in unwashed bio to be concerned with?
Thanks,
Tim
Good news. I'm still alive. I would say even unwashed bio is harmless.
If it was the first wash, there is plenty of methanol to cause discomfort, but otherwise it's not too hazardous.

Methanol can cause you to go blind if you drink it, inhale it, abosrbed throught the skin, or splashed in the eyes. Lye burns the skin and eyes like acid.
So if you can read this or not blistered up. you are OK this time.

I had that happen in about 2003 or 02- unwashed biodiesel straight in the eyes. It didn't do any permanent damage. I learned how to use hose barbs and hose clamps after that!
