i will advice researcher on production of biodiesel from algae not just to focus on microalgae and marine algae which are restricted by environmental factors in terms of culturing. i see more light in biodiesel production from a specie like spirogyra. it is fast growing, high lipid content, easy to harvest and pretreat for oil extraction. Best of all is adaptable to a wide range of climate so found in almost every part of the world.
