  • Re: A few questions before I get started...

just for future reference, the diesel engine was designed to run on peanut oil. while technology marches onward, I still think peanut oil would probably be the best in lubrication, MPG, and quite a few other factors I havent even thought of, such as life expectancy of gaskets, rings, etc. but then again...

  • ford 2001 f250 fuel pump problems

I have a 2001 F250 7.3 and while runing filtered waste veg oil I had to replace my fuel pump 3 times. The motor ran fine. Apparently the diaphram pump swells up and shuts the pump down. I have since stoped and am back to regular diesel. Prices are killing me!! I am going to try making bio and running...

  • algae for fuel

I'm interested in seeing if it is possible set up a home system that would be economically viable and be capable of producing quantities sufficient for my own use. • Re: Dyno Tested .... Bio-fuel vs #2 pump diesel fuel

The spikes in horsepower are at the transmission's shift points. Note: this the horsepower delivered to the wheels The difference is less than 5 horsepower. greaseandgo.com bio-fuel preforms almost the same as #2 pump diesel fuel. There are no toxic waste products left over from processing the bio...

  • making your own biodiesel

Is anyone out there making their own biodiesel? I just started experimenting with it and find that it is pretty simple to make. I must say that I am a chemistry teacher and have a small advantage. I used virgin cooking oil for my first few "test batches" and seemed to produce what I think is...
